Cool playing!
A good rockabilly solo played so well will always sound timelessly good! C'mon Blue caps!
You're good 👍 😅
I didn't realize this until recently, but there is more than one guitar playing in the original version of this song. I always thought Luther Perkins was the only one playing in the song, but after listening to it slowed down to 50% here on YT, it's clear that he's only doing the bass line parts on his guitar during the song while someone else is playing rhythm along with him. I don't know how I didn't catch that all these years that I've been listening to this song.
Fabulosa lección👏👏
Rockabilly originally was Flatt and Scruggs done to the Bill Haley beat which was rock and roll back then.Bill Flagg was first artist to use Rockabilly as a form of music in Hartford,CT in 1954 and then on record after record co. picked him up out of Hartford,ct not Memphis like everyone has been told,Fake news,as the The Donald says.
Damian is absolutely brilliant.
Incredible
Fantastic. You guys are incredible
Brilliant as usual randy..
johnny cash said this tune was the first they recorded and it took 34 takes for luther to get the solo right....never changed a note thereafter
Randy, thanks much for this great lesson! ❤ May I ask what amp set up you had in the video?
Keep on keeping on brother,so talented.
It would be awesome if you did all by myself by johnny brunette
Tab would really help
Train Kept A-rollin One of the best songs I've ever heard
Very good sounding track, a must for practicing Rockabilly!
Great!
fantastic
Link is dead. Who wrote "WOW"?
Burton was a great part of Ricky's success. His solo on "Believe What You Say" is super!
Thanks for this! awesome
Do you have the rest of the song? I want to know how he plays the lead throughout the song. It’s amazing!
Здорово 👍 рок 🎸 ролл твист рокобилли буги вуги шейк навсегда здорово 👍
That's more of a jazz guitar line but it's in a country song so that makes it trickey to narrow down.
Muito obrigado! Brasil
Randy ,you've got one of the best ears I've seen.Well done!
Are you playing with flat wound strings ? You got that tone down perfectly. Besides the use of the Telecaster I believe the flat wounds are really nailing down that original authentic tone 😎
Just put flats on my Strat and yep, they are perfect for that tone. Exactly what I was after! Playing through Princeton
Thank you very much. Keep doing what you're doing !
Be my mentor please
Randy, been some time since we have seen a new lesson. Hoping all is well with you.
Thank you, Randy!

Absolutely fantastic earley fifties Memphis Guitar Riffs.🤗 Thank you 👏👏👏👏👏
Always fun to hear the song. We play the song too, but I usually do the song differently. I do wanna play the song originally too, so when I’m playing it, and people ask, I’ll be able to play the normal way too. I hope you’re doing alright man, long time no videos, we get bookings these days, so it might be upthere a thing too. Looking forward to see something from your side again. 😎 Keep on Rockin! ⚡️
